- ➤ Nine small Delaware businesses received $1.15M in EDGE 2.0 grants awarded Tuesday at Delaware Technical Community College’s Owens Campus in Georgetown, helping fund projects from a new indoor play center in Milford to renovations in Lewes for STEM and entrepreneur initiatives. WDEL
- ➤ ChristianaCare launched a nonprofit software company called DECODR in Newark to help researchers quickly and accurately measure CRISPR gene edits. - ➤ Surf Bagel is preparing to open its seventh location (Churchmans Place Shopping Center) at 1103 Churchmans Road near Christiana Hospital this spring, expanding its Delaware beach brand into New Castle County. - ➤ School staff who support student mental health will be honored on Monday, May 18 during a state event hosted by the Department of Education.
