- ➤ Blue Line Network will host a drive-by event on Jan. 3 at William B. Keene Elementary School in Glasgow — offering free memorial stickers for vehicles to honor fallen trooper Matthew T. 'Ty' Snook; the event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Delaware Online
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ DNREC is sponsoring the Delaware Center for Horticulture’s TreeCycle event, where holiday trees are recycled into mulch + wood chips, on Saturday, Jan. 10 at the DCH parking lot at 1810 North Dupont St. Participants must remove decorations before recycling and a $20 donation per tree supports community forestry efforts. - ➤ Delaware State Police announced the funeral for Corporal Grade One Matthew 'Ty' Snook; public visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 5 from 9 a.m. + 1:00 p.m. at the Bob Carpenter Center on the UD campus in Newark, with uniformed personnel conducting a pass and review before final honors. WDEL
