- ➤ Several Delaware communities celebrated the season with dazzling holiday light displays in early December; visitors marveled at thousands of colorful lights at 2 Costa Bella Court in Milford, Newark Union Church in Brandywine Hundred, and Ursuline Academy in Wilmington, as nearby homes added festive cheer in Stanton and Harrington. - ➤ The Redding Consortium will vote Tuesday on recommendations to redraw local school boundaries that may shift students among Brandywine, Red Clay, Christina and Colonial districts — five years of discussions aimed at improving education have led to this proposal with lawmakers planning to review public input. - ➤ Data from Zumper shows Wilmington apartment rents dropped 3% from last November’s median of $1,749 while prices rose 4% from last month’s $1,628. One bedroom and two bedroom units saw year over year declines and remain below state and national medians. Delaware Online
