CULTURE NEWS

  • Across Delaware, bars and restaurants are launching festive pop-ups with elaborate decorations, holiday-themed drinks like Resting Blitz Face at Blitzen in Wilmington, and seasonal menus designed to invite visitors—each venue brings a unique twist to the holiday spirit. EDUCATION NEWS

  • A state tuition waiver program now helps former foster kids attend college without paying tuition, fees, books, housing, or meal costs so they can focus on their studies. Approved by lawmakers in 2021, the program has supported about 40 students who receive full-time enrollment benefits—providing a stable path toward higher education.  WHYY

  • The Delaware Tourism Office said that last year’s $21.3 million grant from its Sports Tourism Capital Investment Fund is already yielding results—while it now seeks sports tourism grant applicants for a new $10 million capital funding round available next March.  Bay to Bay News
