- ➤ DART celebrated 28 years of partnership with the Food Bank of Delaware with its Stuff the Bus Thanksgiving food drive, which began on November 3 in Newark and Rehoboth, continued at Rodney Square in Wilmington on November 6, and at ShopRite on Route 202 on November 7—its stop will run today on Route 896 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The drive aims to collect 15,000 pounds of nonperishable food for Delawareans in need. - ➤ Nearly 60,000 New Castle households received First State Food Relief Funds on November 7—about $5.2 million was added to EBT cards to provide roughly 25% of monthly SNAP benefits before Thanksgiving. Texts and emails were sent to inform users, and more deposits may be added weekly in November as part of the state's ongoing response to the federal government shutdown. Deleware State Government

- ➤ UD researchers are starting a study to learn how differences in Achilles tendon anatomy affect recovery from injuries—funded by a $3.2 million NIH grant, the project will recruit 50 volunteers to complete a 12-week physical therapy program with advanced MRI scans from UNC.
