ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Crews removed large pieces of siding from the northwest corner of the Chase Fieldhouse on South Market Street early Thursday after a 46-mile-per-hour wind gust caused damage overnight, leaving the interior courts exposed. The building—home of the Delaware Blue Coats—is set to host the Westchester Knicks on Saturday afternoon, and no injuries were reported. WDEL

- ➤ Redding Consortium will vote on December 16—choosing from three redistricting models to reshape New Castle County public school boundaries—and will host public discussion sessions and attend school board meetings to gather input before finalizing a plan in February. If approved, the changes will not be implemented for another three to five years. WDEL
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ DNREC's survey found that many Delawareans have not heard of PFAS – chemicals found in non-stick pans, food packaging and firefighting foam – while some have already taken steps like using bottled water or changing cookware. - ➤ The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office urged Delawareans to take action during National Carbon Monoxide Awareness Month this November — a silent threat from fuel-burning devices that can cause severe illness or death.
