- ➤ Walnut Street YMCA is celebrating its 85th anniversary with a multi-phase event that honors its role as a community hub built in 1940 for African American families. - ➤ Delaware's unemployment rate increased from 4.1% in July to 4.3% in August as it has steadily risen since January—Tom Dougherty said local figures were mostly higher than last August and the state added 3,500 jobs over the year with gains in Leisure and Hospitality and declines in government jobs.
