- ➤ Matt Murray, a 39-year-old Uber and Lyft driver from Newark, was injured when a wave knocked him down while boogie boarding at Rehoboth Beach on August 23—he regained some limb function but still lacks full use of his hands and is now in a rehabilitation center with his family seeking support through a GoFundMe. - ➤ A crash on I-95 northbound near the Christina River Bridge early Sunday morning resulted in five people being taken to the hospital — including two with critical injuries — after several vehicles collided with some occupants entrapped or ejected. WDEL

- ➤ State troopers searched a house on Mount Joy Road in Millsboro Friday night and arrested four people, including 38-year-old Djuan Sheppard, a convicted felon not allowed to own guns, after finding crack cocaine, powder cocaine, digital scales — and 9-millimeter bullets, with Sheppard held at Sussex Correctional Institution.
