- ➤ New Castle County Police credited the Senior Roll Call phone program with rescuing a (99-year-old) woman who fell on Wildel Avenue in Minquadale after missing her phone check; her daughter found her and she was taken to hospital (and later released). WDEL
- ➤ Wilmington Police reported that a single-vehicle collision on Monday morning at the 2600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue left three men seriously injured at about 10:56 a.m.—officers say the maroon Honda Accord rolled, and investigators are seeking public assistance. First State Update

- ➤ Starwood Digital Ventures has proposed Project Washington—a six-million-square-foot data center near Delaware City that awaits state review and must meet strict local noise and zoning rules, council members said. New Castle County Council officials plan to vote on these restrictions in September and note that local residents have raised concerns about its high energy use and unclear job benefits. - ➤ New Castle County documentaries have received nominations for the 2025 Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards.
