Good morning, Wilmington.

Three new car washes will open along Kirkwood Highway to double the options for local drivers.

The upcoming businesses will offer added convenience on this well-traveled corridor.

Local educators continue to seek essential donations such as pencils, paper, wipes, and headphones to support classrooms.

Donors can also review classroom wishlists (via GoFundMe) for the items most needed.

The new Paul M. Hodgson Vocational-Technical High School opens for students next week; it offers 304,000 sqft of state-of-the-art space including shops, an auditorium, a gym, and a mental health room, while the old building across the street will soon be demolished (officials noted its bright promise).
