Saint Mark’s High School appointed Aine Lafferty Bruhl as its new Director of Visual and Performing Arts—she brings over a decade of arts education and nonprofit leadership experience and plans to launch student-led projects to grow the school’s program.

Professors Steve Goodwin and Jennifer Thorpe from UD were honored last spring with the Study Abroad Faculty Director of the Year Awards for leading a Health Behavior and Nutrition Science program that took students to view Olympic and World Cup games in western Europe—furthermore, they plan to co-lead a study abroad program in South Africa during the Winter Session in 2026.
