- ➤ A 55-year-old man in serious condition and a 66-year-old woman in stable condition were taken to Christiana Hospital after several cars and a motorcycle crashed on Summit Bridge Road near Old School House Road on Saturday night—Delaware State Police are investigating the incident. WDEL
- ➤ A rollover crash in Newark early Saturday sent two people to Christiana Hospital when rescuers freed a 25-year-old woman trapped in her car for 20 minutes and transported another person at about 5 a.m. — Newark police are investigating the incident. WDEL

- ➤ Wilmington native Aubrey Plaza will star in Ethan Coen’s play 'Let’s Love!' with previews beginning Sept. 25th at Atlantic Theater Company. The production will run from Oct. 15th to Nov. 9th+ Chris Bauer is set to co-star. Delaware Online

- ➤ Trudie Thompson donated $1 million in July to create an endowment for the Kent-Sussex branch of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, which offers college courses for retirees. - ➤ Lawmakers will meet in a special session on Tuesday to address rising property taxes after a recent reassessment shifted more of the burden to homeowners in New Castle County.
