  • Goldey Beacom College energized Delaware’s Best when DETV's Big Ive interviewed Spark—GBC’s high voltage mascot—on Good Morning Delaware. The annual event, hosted by Delaware Today, honors local winners and highlights top people, places, and organizations across the state.  DETV
  • The Delaware News Journal archive now shows animal photos taken over 53 years that include a racing rabbit in 1971, a sneaky horse in 1972 and wildlife scenes in later years.   • Family Destinations Guide highlighted eight Delaware antique shops where locals can browse unique treasures. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Delaware law explains that a neighbor who repeatedly causes disturbances with loud music, barking dogs, or overflowing trash may be classified as a legal nuisance. The law distinguishes criminal nuisances—such as gang activity, violence, and drug use—from private nuisances that allow affected residents to seek civil remedies.  Delaware Online
  • Newark’s Main Street is getting safety upgrades by the city and DelDOT after two University students died last school year—changes include all-way stops at key intersections and a new bike lane replacing a slip lane. Work began on August 8—minor delays may occur due to weather, so drivers should use extra care as improvements continue.  Delaware Online
