- ➤ New Castle County Division of Police has issued a Gold Alert for 18-year-old Kiany Pitillo, who was last seen at 3:00 p.m. on July 16 leaving her unit block on Court Drive in Wilmington and is described as a black female 5’7” tall with brown eyes and black hair with blue streaks—police urge anyone with information to call 302-573-2800 or dial 911 immediately. - ➤ Delaware Shakespeare company will premiere its first bilingual musical production, Twelfth Night, O Lo Que Quieras, at Rockwood Park in Wilmington. The show starts today and runs until August 3, and it presents a musical story inspired by themes of family separation and immigration reform. 6abc

- ➤ Tom Tao, an assistant professor at UD, designed a nine-month scenario planning exercise for Incyte employees—part of the UD PCS PocketMBA program—to help them plan strategic responses to drug development challenges. - ➤ State Auditor Lydia York said her office will start a special inquiry into accounting errors at Appoquinimink School District that caused a 10% tax increase, with a report due by Labor Day. - ➤ Delaware transit officials said SEPTA faces a $213 million funding gap that will lead to rail service cuts in August and end Delaware train service by January 1, 2026—disrupting many commuters traveling to and from Philadelphia.
