- ➤ Wilmington dog owners must pick up pet waste from streets, sidewalks, and parks immediately to avoid fines from $250 to $1,000 on a first offense and even higher penalties for repeat violations—repeat offenses may carry fines up to $5,000 or short jail time. Delaware Online

- ➤ The New Castle County Police issued a Gold Alert for 55-year-old Rodney Roberson, a black man last seen at 8:00 a.m. on June 20 leaving his home on the 2000 block of Navarro Road and driving a black Cadillac Lyriq, and police say he may be headed toward the 200 block of East Walnut Park Drive in Philadelphia + anyone with information should call 911 immediately. - ➤ Delaware Shakespeare will perform its bilingual adaptation of 'Twelfth Night, O Lo Que Quieras' during its Summer Festival at Rockwood Park from July 17 through Aug. 3. The production blends English and Spanish dialogue and retells the classic play with Venezuelan twins—separated in a shipwreck—while the festival also features food trucks, vendors, and themed nights. - ➤ Water provider Veolia unveiled a new $35 million PFAS treatment facility in Stanton that removes dangerous forever chemicals from the drinking water of more than 100,000 residents. The facility uses granular activated carbon plus 21 filters to treat 30 million gallons of water per day and meets federal limits four years ahead of schedule. WHYY
- ➤ Wilmington Water said the tap water may look murky from an algae bloom in the Brandywine — which affects its taste and odor — but it remains safe to drink; they advise residents to refrigerate water in a pitcher overnight or use a Brita filter to lessen the flavor issues.
