- ➤ The Police Athletic League in Wilmington is planning a new facility on county-owned land that will include an aquatics center and community services, with an estimated cost of around $10 million—including $5.2 million for the pool—as it aims to give residents better access to swimming lessons. - ➤ Police are searching for the suspect who shot two men on Saturday, June 15 at around 1:30 p.m. at 4th and Franklin in Wilmington—one victim, a 26-year-old man shot at least seven times, is in critical condition while the other, a 35-year-old man, is stable after their car crashed as they tried to drive away. 6abc

The project by Nautilus Solar Energy and TurningPoint Energy offers a 20% electric bill discount for low-income customers — the first of six planned installations to help meet the state’s clean energy goals. - ➤ Lawmakers passed a bill on Thursday that removes the lieutenant governor’s authority over $250 million for addiction services and gives full control to the Delaware Prescription Opioid Settlement Distribution Commission. The bill, introduced by House Speaker Melissa Minor-Brown and headed for a Senate committee vote later this week, comes a year after controversy over former Lt. Gov.
