The Delaware Division of Small Business awarded EDGE grants to 10 small businesses at Bally’s Resort in Dover on June 4.

The $650,000 funding will support ventures in STEM and entrepreneurship — helping companies expand services from mental health to real estate technology — and boost innovation statewide.

On June 4th, officers responded to a shooting in Manor Park where they found a 37-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his face inside a home and 31-year-old Kyle Schaal from Wilmington injured after a fight that escalated when he used a handgun—he later faced charges including attempted murder and firearm possession before being held at Howard Young Correctional Institution.
