- ➤ A man suffered serious injuries when an SUV collided with a tractor-trailer and overturned on the northbound lanes of the Roth Bridge Monday afternoon — emergency crews were dispatched at 4:08 p.m. and the 47-year-old was airlifted by the Delaware State Police Helicopter to Christiana Hospital. - ➤ Detectives from New Castle County Police arrested Daronce Beulah and Karon Phillips on May 30 and later caught Stepheon Mason on Maple Street in Wilmington after finding drugs including heroin/fentanyl, crack cocaine, MDMA pills, and marijuana during an investigation that began in March—Beulah and Phillips now face multiple felony charges while Mason was released on secure bail. - ➤ Delaware Department of Human Resources’ Office of Women’s Advancement and Advocacy and the Delaware Women’s Hall of Fame Committee have launched the 'Celebrating Delaware Women: Voices of Inspiration' video contest to invite Delaware students ages 8 to 13 to create a 1 to 3 minute video highlighting the achievements of a Hall of Fame inductee. Two winners — one for ages 8 to 10 and one for ages 11 to 13 — will receive a $100 gift card, two tickets to the induction ceremony on October 8 and special recognition, with entries due by August 31 and winners announced on September 17.
