ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A 59-year-old man suffered serious injuries when his vehicle crashed near Meadow Drive on DuPont Parkway on Tuesday evening at approximately 5:04 p.m.—emergency teams stabilized him and he was airlifted to Christiana Hospital in Newark while police began investigating the cause. - ➤ The New Castle County Division of Police issued a Gold Alert for 17-year-old Abner Murillo of Wilmington who was last seen at 6:15 p.m. May 28th in the 2800 block of Videre Drive riding a blue bicycle and wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt — police described him as 5'7" with brown hair and brown eyes and ask anyone with information to call 911 or non-emergency number 302-573-2800. - ➤ The Ladybug Music Festival returns tomorrow, May 30 with a free rain or shine event in Downtown Wilmington featuring over 30 women performers, including headliner Margaret Glaspy. - ➤ Fifty middle and high school students from Delaware will gather at Legislative Hall in Dover on Friday, June 6th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to participate in a Mock Continental Congress that will let them engage with history and civic procedures (organized by Delaware 250 with support from the Delaware Historical Society and First State Heritage Park).
