- ➤ Joann will close all of its over 440 stores by May 31 — ending over 80 years in business and shutting the two Delaware stores in Dover and Christiana amid going-out-of-business sales. The closures follow a bankruptcy filing and auction of the company’s assets that began in February. Delaware Online

- ➤ The Delaware Senate unanimously passed a bill that would create an Office of Inspector General to investigate fraud, waste and corruption, but the House remains uncertain about the measure due to its hefty price tag of $3.5 million over three years.
