- ➤ A final donation of over $390,000 from the Mark H. Goldman Trust gave the Needy Family Fund one last chance to help Delaware families. Funds were allocated on May 22 to The Salvation Army, the Food Bank, and State Services to support housing, utilities and food. Delaware Online

- ➤ A study by the Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement showed that nonprofits employed 73,000 people, paid $5.2 billion in wages, and added $14.1 billion to the regional product during 2022. The department is replacing channel markers damaged in winter storms and removing unreliable markers from Baker's Channel so boaters can navigate safely using Massey's Ditch as an alternative.
