- ➤ Police responded Tuesday evening just after 7:30 to a reported stabbing at the 200 block of East Hampstead Road in Middletown where a 27-year-old male with a stab wound to the torso was airlifted by Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 4 to Christiana Hospital—authorities have not released further details about the victim or additional injuries. - ➤ New Castle County Division of Police in Wilmington issued a Gold Alert for 19-year-old Christopher Spano, Jr. after he was last seen leaving his home on the 100 block of North Road at 3:00 p.m. on May 21—he is described as white, 5'7" tall and 139 pounds, wearing a black t-shirt, green shorts, and an Eagles lanyard with keys attached, and his whereabouts remain unknown. - ➤ Wilmington Police arrested a 39-year-old Claymont man last week after he fired a loaded 9mm handgun near a crash on North Market Street — officers said he had been involved in a vehicle collision before discharging the weapon and now faces multiple firearm and reckless charges.
