- ➤ Governor Matt Meyer signed House Bill 140 on May 20th, giving terminally ill adults the option to self-administer medication for a peaceful death — the law requires confirmation by two doctors and multiple requests, making Delaware the 11th jurisdiction to legalize medical aid in dying. WITN
- ➤ DNREC and its Aquatic Resources Education Center will host free Life in the Bay sessions for families at Woodland Beach this summer, with the first event on June 18 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Participants aged 6 and up must pre-register and wear closed-toed shoes for safety—all equipment is provided during the hands-on seining experience.
