- ➤ On May 16 at about 3:52 p.m., officers responded to the Villas apartment complex after reports of gunshots and found 25-year-old Brandon Anderson on a third-floor balcony with a handgun—he had earlier shot a man in the courtyard, and after evacuating residents, Anderson was taken into custody and arraigned on charges including assault first degree, firearm possession, reckless endangerment, and resisting arrest before being committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution after failing to post $146,000 cash bail. New Castle County Police Department

- ➤ Delaware Contemporary celebrates 25 years on the Riverfront after converting an old railroad car assembly plant into an arts space that sparks community dialogue.
