- ➤ Residents are advised that tick bites, which rarely prove deadly, can transmit Lyme disease, ehrlichiosis, and spotted fever as warmer weather increases tick activity; Delaware health officials recommend watching for rashes and fever (and to consult a doctor promptly if bitten). Delaware Online
- ➤ A report from the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services shows that New Castle County restaurants are gathering safety violations in the past 30 days, with Oishii Asian Bistro & Sushi — at 386 Walmart Drive — recording 22 violations on April 10. Delaware Online
