- ➤ Approximately 600 Latino community members will gather at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington on Tuesday, May 19 for the Delaware Latino Summit 2026, running from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The day will feature workshops, panel discussions and cultural performances — boosting civic voice and economic impact. - ➤ The University of Delaware will host its fourth annual 302 Tour from June 11 to 13, featuring community service, field day, hospital and outdoor events, and a Chicken Chase 5k, beach cleanup & dolphin tour across New Castle, Kent and Sussex counties. University of Delaware
- ➤ White Clay Creek Country Club will reopen Friday, May 8 at Delaware Park after planning to close by the end of 2025. Members received emails this week, and management has not shared details about a rumored ownership change. WDEL

- ➤ Organizers unveiled plans for the DE250 Ride – a two-day reenactment of Caesar Rodney’s historic journey, starting at Legislative Hall on June 12 and ending at Independence Hall on June 13.
