- ➤ Firefighters responded to a structure fire with reported entrapment on the 300 block of Matthes Avenue in Richardson Park at 11:48 a.m. Saturday—rescuing a man in his 50s from a second-floor window, transporting him to Christiana Hospital for smoke inhalation while controlling the fire by 12:04 p.m. First State Update

- ➤ Delaware State Police arrested Fernando Medina-Moreta—28, a Seaford man wanted for a 2024 Maryland homicide—during a traffic stop on northbound DuPont Boulevard near Avenue of Honor Road on May 2. A search of his dark gray Honda Accord found a loaded 9mm Glock handgun that was reported stolen, and he faces multiple felony charges while awaiting extradition to Maryland. First State Update
