- ➤ Governor Meyer announced that Delaware completed a $317 million bond sale on April 29 — competitive bids led Bank of America to win the sale at a 3.836% rate, and the funds will finance projects including school construction, restoration of the historic Custom House in Wilmington, bridge maintenance, and beach replenishment while the state maintained its triple-A ratings for 25 years. - ➤ Wilmington City Council approved new ambulance rates on May 1—residents will pay a $1,000 base fee with extra charges of $25 per loaded mile and $30 for needed oxygen. The city will take over EMS service from St. Francis on June 28—billing will be handled by a third-party without added penalties. Delaware Online
- ➤ On May 2nd, Wilmington City Council approved a plan to allow recreational marijuana operations in selected commercial, manufacturing, and waterfront zones with a 300-foot buffer around schools and homes.
