- ➤ Delaware residents will take part in the nation’s largest one-day food drive on Saturday, May 10—letter carriers will collect nonperishable food items left near mailboxes for delivery to local food banks and pantries. - ➤ A 48-year-old man was struck and killed on Salem Church Road on Monday afternoon when a northbound car veered off near Chapman Road, crashed into a tree, and flipped; the driver (18-year-old) was treated for minor injuries and police are investigating the crash. WDEL
