- ➤ Delaware State Police and the State Fire Marshal's Office investigated a fatal fire on April 23 at the 3000 block of Big Stone Beach Road north of Milford—firefighters found a body in the burned area and officers do not suspect foul play. WDEL

- ➤ At the Shifting Sands Environmental Sustainability Summit in Dewey Beach, Sen. Stephanie Hansen and DNREC Secretary Greg Patterson expressed concern over meeting Delaware’s mandate—43% of new cars sold must be electric or plug-in hybrids by 2027. - ➤ Gov. Matt Meyer nominated veteran attorney Joshua Sanderlin on Monday to serve as Delaware’s next state marijuana commissioner.
