- ➤ The New Castle County Division of Police issued a Gold Alert for 15-year-old Nathanael Lewis, who was last seen at 3:00 p.m. on April 20 in the 100 block of East Greenbank Road in Wilmington wearing gray sweatpants and a black t-shirt and described as a Hispanic Black male with curly hair and a slim build who may be headed toward Elsmere; anyone with information is urged to call (302) 573-2800. - ➤ DNREC is updating the Delaware Wildlife Action Plan for 2025-2035 with input from federal, state, and non-government partners to protect local species and habitats. - ➤ Wilmington and New Castle County are asking the state to let them add local sales taxes on recreational marijuana—up to 3% in Wilmington and 5% in New Castle County—to boost local revenue, while Wilmington will vote on zoning rules that keep marijuana shops away from schools and homes.
