- ➤ HCA and the Archaeological Society of Delaware announced the Delmarva Archaeology and History Symposium at the Historic Lewes Maritime Museum on Saturday, April 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The free event features talks on the Battle of Cooch’s Bridge and Delaware’s first Black woman lawyer — showing heritage. - ➤ Bridge Project is converting office space into an educational hub by moving Widener University’s Delaware Law School downtown near public courts and joining programs from the University of Delaware and Delaware State University, set to serve over 2,000 students in the 2027-2028 academic year. - ➤ On Sunday, April 12, more than 4,700 people gathered at the Bob Carpenter Center for UDance’s 20th-anniversary dance marathon, raising $1.7 million for pediatric cancer patients and their families. - ➤ Delaware EARNS reached $10 million in retirement assets among workers as Delaware State Treasurer Colleen Davis announced Tuesday in Dover. - ➤ The EPA and DDA renewed their commitment to sustainable farming and clean water on Tuesday, Apr. 14 at the DDA’s Dover headquarters by signing a Memorandum of Understanding.
