- ➤ Yesterday hundreds of redheads, including about 200 runners, gathered on Choate Street in Newark for the fourth annual Ginger Run celebrating St. Paddy’s Day, with improved police coordination & quick road clearance ensuring the event passed smoothly. Delaware Online

- ➤ Yesterday, residents gathered along King Street at Rodney Square for Wilmington’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade that celebrated local Irish traditions & neighborly spirit. Delaware Online
- ➤ Kelly’s Logan House, the oldest Irish family bar founded in 1889, is a Trolley Square staple run by the fifth-generation Kellys. The venue will host St. Patrick’s Day festivities tomorrow with traditional Irish fare and lively celebrations (added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980). WHYY
- ➤ At Wilmington’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, the McHugh School of Irish Dance showcased Irish culture and will perform at Philadelphia’s parade on Monday at noon. - ➤ Delaware law lets service dog owners bring their trained dogs into public spaces (libraries, hotels, restaurants) without showing disability proof unless the animal’s role is unclear, and owners may be held responsible if the dog causes damage or is out of control. Delaware Online
- ➤ Delaware Transit Corporation was awarded a $14.3 million federal grant to refurbish 51 buses, which will extend their service life up to six years and save about $7.4 million in future costs. The program will start soon & improve service reliability for riders. WHYY

- ➤ A survey by Munley Law of 3,015 U.S. workers ranked three Delaware commutes as the angriest.
