- ➤ José Luis Aguilar Garcia is hosting his Mercadito Concerts at the family-run Fiesta Fresh Market & Carniceria in New Castle — the series spotlights regional Mexican music in a setting inspired by Tiny Desk Concerts. - ➤ Delaware’s recreational cannabis market has recorded $29.3 million in sales from 13 conversion dispensaries since its Aug. 1 launch, and state officials plan to add more retailers and growers (with five new retail licenses expected by end-June) to lower prices and reduce cross-border buying. - ➤ Delaware accelerated its Early Literacy Plan with over $8 million to boost classroom reading. The Department of Education announced a $1.9m grant (SIF) and a $6.1m award (Bridge to Practice) for 25 districts and charters, with a goal of every child reading on grade level by third grade.
