- ➤ Del State alum SZA won two Grammys at the 68th ceremony on Feb. 2 for her work with Kendrick Lamar on the song 'Luther,' though Cher mistakenly credited the award to Luther Vandross, stirring online chatter. This win marks her seventh career Grammy. Delaware Online

- ➤ Governor Matt Meyer announced a $50 million investment to boost Delaware’s early childhood programs and lower child care costs using state & federal funds including an $11.3 million grant. - ➤ West End Neighborhood House opened a new education center Monday on 8th Street in Wilmington. The facility (housed in a former church) includes Seeds of Jesus Daycare, job training sessions, and parenting classes to support low-income, multilingual families with community events and workforce programs. - ➤ April M. Kloxin was named director of the Delaware Biotechnology Institute on Feb. 1. She will expand collaborations among local universities and industry partners to grow biotechnology research and workforce development in the region. University of Delaware
