- ➤ The Delaware Division of the Arts announced that 27 Delaware artists, including Wilmington’s Master Fellow Dennis Beach, received 2026 Individual Artist Fellowships totaling $184,000, with grants from $5,000 to $12,000 that require a public exhibition or performance next year. Delaware LIVE

- ➤ Residents in Wilmington should prepare for a severe winter storm with heavy snow, sleet and freezing rain expected from Saturday night through Monday. - ➤ A major winter storm is set to hit Delaware on Sunday and Monday. The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Watch from 7 p.m. Saturday to 1 p.m. Monday, and forecasts predict 6-12 inches of snow across Delmarva (over a foot in northern areas) before colder air arrives. WDEL
- ➤ The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Delaware starting Saturday night, Jan. 24 through Monday, Jan. 26. Heavy snow, sleet and freezing rain may cause dangerously slippery roads on Sunday and Monday morning, so residents should prepare for difficult travel. Delaware Online
