- ➤ The Mill has finished updating its fourth floor at Market West so members can return to their long-used workspace, and it will open a new coworking space in Seaford later this year—offering 18 private offices and 28 desks—to serve more local professionals. Delaware LIVE
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Delaware’s blue laws once banned Sunday work and sports; current rules restrict Sunday alcohol sales, beach changing, and vehicle living, and drive-in theaters risk fines for showing films unsuitable for minors (the last theater closed in 2021). - ➤ The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control is hosting its second annual photo contest for outdoor photos. - ➤ Delmarva Power and Light filed an application on December 9, 2025 with the Delaware Public Service Commission to increase base revenue by $67.8 million and monthly customer charges from $13.50 to $15.94. - ➤ At Charter School of Wilmington, Delaware, sophomore Satya Kokonda started CompetifyHub to deliver free STEM resources + launch a research equipment library for underserved learners. The nonprofit now reaches nearly 58,000 students worldwide. WHYY

- ➤ DelDOT and its partners collected 82K bags of trash in 2025 as part of the Keep DE Litter Free initiative—an effort that maintained cleaner roads statewide. Bay to Bay News
- ➤ The Delaware River and Bay Authority held a public hearing Monday on proposed fare changes for the Cape May-Lewes Ferry (meeting held at 6:30 p.m.) as officials detailed planned adjustments including surge pricing to encourage early reservations.
